Twas the day after Christmas and the stable was still not a house. Mary was still in pain from the child birth, the baby was crying to be fed and cleaned, and the mess made by the Shepherds who intruded into the stable in the middle of the night still had to be cleaned up. A job and a house were items of urgent concern and the census crowds still made doing anything difficult. And Joseph was looking up to heaven and silently saying, “God are you sure I am the man you want to take care of the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among men?” Remember that Christmas must be lived beyond Christmas

God Became a Man
Christmas is about God becoming a man. It is about the Son of God coming to earth to live among men; and eventually die for men. That makes Christmas more important than family togetherness, fabulous trees, or fictitious tales of fat men and flying reindeer

Christmas is a Gift; not Giving
Thank God that God is a God who deserves our Thanks.

Maybe Church Services should Begin with an Altar Call

Sin’s Consequences
The sins you sin matter

Each One Win One
You can gripe about America or you can “Gospel” America. The first makes people feel bad; the second does Great Good

Satan’s Trap
This is an old written sermon I needed to type into my computer. All week I have set it aside each time it came up because I had other tasks I felt needed to be done. This morning the Lord spoke fairly harshly to me and said I needed to type this sermon. That must mean someone is “looking at some cheese” and God wants to help them. Whoever you are- I am really praying for you today

When You do what you do; have you done anything with what you do?
